Zion Church in Barnegat Light stands as a beacon of faith and community on the northern tip of Long Beach Island. This small seashore town is surrounded by water on three sides and it is representative of the natural beauty of God's creation on earth.  As such, it is the perfect place to spend time in worshiping God and contemplating His Word.  An historic working  lighthouse overlooks the town and the surrounding waters giving rise to our title, "Church of the light".

We believe in the transformative power of teaching and preaching God's Word. Through Sunday sermons, church school for youth, mid-week bible study and small groups, we engage minds and hearts with bliblical truth, spreading inspiration.

Our church was founded in 1940 by local community of Scandinavian fishingmen and their families.  Today it continues to be a place of belonging, acceptance, and friendships to our members and community friends.
