FOOD BASKET

We collect food for the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit (Manahawkin) Food Bank on the second Sunday of each month. Please bring canned goods and non-perishables to the service. Pastor Rudy takes them to Holy Spirit after the service.

BIBLE STUDY

New Bible Study on Tuesdays from 11am – 12:30 - beginning June 7^th. Text book – “Bible Themes” by Valli Kane (Zion Member!) In our Fellowship Hall and on ZOOM! We have the books.

8:30am Contemporary Service at the Pavilion at 6th Street and Bayview Ave in Barnegat Light

10 am Full Communion Service in the sanctuary at our Zion Church at 18th Street and Central Ave.

Good news! No matter the reason, you don't have to miss church on Sunday morning. We offer these options.

Attend In Person or Online, Live or Recorded

Communicate with us during the Live service by commenting on Facebook. Your prayer requests and comments will be shared during the service.

Our bell, that years ago hung on a wooden frame in front of the church, has once again been raised with thanks to Zion member Jeff Miller.

Zion Fellowship Hall Renovation Project

We have opened the Fellowship Hall and the Church! We'll be back in our church sanctuary for the 10am services beginning on Easter Sunday. The Fellowship Hall will be open and ready for our Sunday school and all other activities.

It's a big and important undertaking so we continue to raise funds to cover the costs. If you would like to contribute you can send a check to the church at PO Box 152, Barnegat Light NJ 08006, or you can click on the green GIVE button on this page. Once you've stated the amount you are contributing you can scroll to apply your contribution to the Fellowship Hall Fund. Thank you!

For Your Information

Zion has received a waiver of the “no parking” on Central Avenue from the township.

Hymnal dedication forms are available in the Narthex. Suggested donation is $22.50.

In the event that we have to cancel church services on any Sunday an email will go out to our email list. Those who do not have email and would like us to call you, please put your name and number on the clipboard in the narthex or call the office on a Tuesday.
